What makes the XPRE518 different from a standard LED face mask?
The XPRE518 combines three distinctive features: a contoured 5D structure, a multi-zone light mode, and 20 strategically positioned 1072nm near-infrared emitters around the cheek areas. It provides more specialized light configurations than a conventional single-color LED mask.
2
What is the XPRE518 5D LED face mask?
The XPRE518 is a cordless, three-dimensional LED face mask featuring 90 large four-in-one LED units, five selectable light programs, and an automatic 10-minute timer. Its contoured construction is designed to provide close and consistent coverage across different facial areas.
3
How many LEDs does the XPRE518 have?
The mask contains 90 physical four-in-one LED units. The wavelength configuration includes:
90 red-light chips
90 blue-light chips
90 yellow-light chips
70 near-infrared chips at 850nm
20 near-infrared chips at 1072nm
Only 20 yellow-light chips are activated in the dedicated zoned mode.
4
What wavelengths does the XPRE518 use?
The XPRE518 incorporates five wavelength configurations:
Red: 630nm ±10nm
Blue: 460nm ±10nm
Yellow: 580nm ±10nm
Near-infrared: 850nm ±10nm
Advanced near-infrared: 1072nm ±10nm
5
What light modes are available?
The XPRE518 offers five selectable light programs:
Red light mode
Blue light mode
Violet mixed-light mode
Zoned multi-color mode
Red and near-infrared mode
“Five light programs” is more accurate than “five color modes” because the 850nm and 1072nm wavelengths are near-infrared and are not visible colors.
6
How does the zoned multi-color mode work?
Instead of illuminating the entire face with one color, this mode assigns different wavelengths to specific facial zones:
Red light around the outer facial contour
Blue light across the T-zone
Yellow light along the inner facial contour
This differentiated layout is one of the XPRE518’s main design features.
7
Why are only 20 yellow LEDs illuminated?
Although yellow-light chips are integrated into the LED configuration, the dedicated zoned program activates 20 yellow emitters in selected facial areas. This is intentional and forms part of the mask’s multi-zone lighting design.
8
What is special about the 1072nm light?
The XPRE518 contains 20 emitters using the 1072nm near-infrared wavelength. They are positioned on both sides of the cheek area and operate together with 630nm red and 850nm near-infrared light in Mode 5.
For technically accurate product copy, 1072nm near-infrared light is preferable to simply calling it “deep infrared.”
9
Where are the 1072nm emitters positioned?
The 20 emitters are distributed across the left and right cheek areas to provide symmetrical coverage in the red and near-infrared operating mode.
10
Can users see the 850nm and 1072nm light?
No, or only very faintly. Both 850nm and 1072nm are outside the visible spectrum, so they may appear dim or completely invisible to the human eye even when operating normally.
11
What is included in the red and infrared mode?
Mode 5 combines:
630nm red light
70 near-infrared emitters at 850nm
20 cheek-positioned near-infrared emitters at 1072nm
This combined program is a key differentiating feature of the XPRE518.
